Muse 2012 Released

The summer 2012 edition of Muse magazine was released November 29, 2012. There was a nice release party on the Heartland Community College campus with free food and I was given a free copy of the magazine. I want to thank my friends Marion, Sabrina, and Gaby for showing up for the event and it was nice seeing Thomas again. This year's Muse layout was much better than last year's Muse layout in my opinion and I really liked how they presented my two submissions in the magazine.

I slacked off a bit for a couple of weeks on my first Sawaporn issue, but now I'm busy working on it again.

Anyway, it's finally December, which is my favorite time of the year. I hope it gets really cold.

Here is a song that always reminds me of cold winter evenings. It is "Lack Of Sense" by Tribantura (1987). I originally discovered this in December of 2006:

Here is the song "Seabird, Seamoan (remix)" by Belfegore (1984). The album version isn't on Youtube as far as I know, but this version is good too. I originally discovered this in December of 2006:

Here is the song "Der Goldene Reiter" by Joachim Witt (1981). I originally discovered this in December of 2006:

Muse Delayed

I just found out that the Muse magazine release party will be delayed until Thanksgiving break. The printing company that is supposed to handle the Muse Summer 2012 edition is located in New Jersey. The company was affected by a long power outage due to hurricane Sandy and they only recently got power back.

Anyway, here is that link to a clip from page 19 of issue #7 again:

Here is the song "New Home" by Shriekback (1984):

And the song "Hubris" by Shriekback (1984):

Finally, the song "My Careful Hands" by Shriekback (1984):

I discovered the album "Jam Science" (1984) by Shriekback approximately six years this afternoon. It's my favorite Shriekback album and it's unfortunate that it has never been reissued since its original vinyl release.

I can't wait for the cold winter to embrace and smother this town with snow and ice.

Speaking of which, here is the song "Under An Ancient Sun" by Jeremy Soule from "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" game. I really like this piece of music.
